Office Manager

Job Description

We are looking to hire a part-time Office Manager. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative tasks. They should have the ability to work independently with little or no supervision. The candidate must be well-organized with high attention to detail, possessing excellent computer and communication skills. This position is in-person only, scheduled for Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 9 am to 2 pm.


General office support that includes but is not limited to:

  • Answer calls and emails, follow up and respond to inquiries to provide information to donors, volunteers, and co-workers as needed.

  • Attend and coordinate meetings (in-person and Zoom), book rooms, invite participants, prepare agendas, record minutes, and manage attendance

  • Process and Record Donations

  • Data Entry

  • Assist with events and programs

  • Coordinate and update event chairs and committees

  • Update and maintain lists

  • Send cards and mailings

  • Social media content creation and maintenance

  • Occasional evening meetings and events are required


Knowledge and Skill Requirements

- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Strong computer capabilities, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

- Ability to take initiative

- Non-profit experience beneficial but not required

- Comfortable with using software programs

- graphic abilities a plus
